Good solid introduction to the 90 degree dial

Short and pithy introduction to the use of the 90 degree dial as it impacts Cosmobiology and Uranian Astrology. Wonderful concise introduction to Cosmobiology which I have just recently rediscovered. The use of midpoints speaks to me in a way where conventional astrological approaches do not. Great examples using midpoints to analyze the charts of Mike Tyson and Bill Clinton. Uses a visual approach to learning these tecniques with lots of big charts and diagrams. If you enjoy this brief introduction to midpoints I would suggest that the interested reader next check out "Working with Astrology" by Michael Harding and the late Charles Harvey. The best book I have ever read on the subject...Astrology is marvelous...

About the Author

Dale Rio is an artist, photographer, and writer currently living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is also the co-founder and editor of Blood & Thunder roller derby magazine and Shimmy burlesque magazine.

I am proud to have two artists in this book who are my family, Su'a Sulu'ape Petelo and Su'a Sulu'ape Angela. Su'a Sulu'ape Angela has earned her next chief title of Su'a since this book was published. This will be a rare book for collections because of the prestigious artists included in this book.

Great book but be aware

I downloaded the Kindle version of this book and it is GREAT... only down side is that it does not have eReader page numbers ONLY has "locations" .... so for all I know page 20 is location 5547... but I have no way of knowing! Sad but now I know for future uses to look in the product details for page number ability.

Very well published, scientific, comprehensive

This volume is the outcome of a tree-day conference entitled "The History and Culture of Jews in Silesia", which was held in May 2000 at the University of Wroclaw. Undoubtedly, the reader will notice the scarcity of works devoted to the history of the Jewish culture in Silesia, even though both the title of the conference and request for papers pointed to the culture as the area of research of foremost significance to the organizers. The predominance of studies of the post- emancipation period is particularly evident. Only two of the lectures and two archival contributions were devoted to medieval and early- modern history. However, the most distinguishing feature of this volume is the lacuna of synthetic studies and of works touching upon broader subject areas of the history of the Jewish community in Silesia. About the Author

Sean Prentiss is Associate Professor of English at Norwich University, USA. He is author of Finding Abbey: The Search for Edward Abbey and His Hidden Desert Grave (2015), which won the National Outdoor Book Award for Biography/History. He is also co-editor of The Far Edges of the Fourth Genre (2014).

Joe Wilkins is Associate Professor of English at Linfield College, USA. His memoir, The Mountain and the Fathers: Growing Up on the Big Dry (2013) won the GLCA New Writers Award for non-fiction and his work has appeared in Georgia Review, Harvard Review and Slate among many other periodicals.

His as-yet-untitled memoir is forthcoming from Harper Collins. Adjimi is a member of New Dramatists, a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, the Iowa Playwrights Workshop and the Juliard School. i am so sorry and ashamed of myself for wasting my money on this book. How can Amazon sell such garbage at such ridiculously inflated prices? The only other reviewer who gave it a 5 star review must be related to this 'author'. No publisher worth their salt would publish such ridiculous material, so the author must print these books in his basement. Please do not be fooled, don't waste your money on this book. The content is unverified and redundant and their is virtually no editing. I barely made it through the first chapter before i decided to use this book as kindling for my woodstove. I just don't understand how Amazon would sell such tripe. Never again~!

About the Author
Head of the Ionising Radiation Section, Bureau Inernational des Poids et Mesures, France, Dr Allisy-Roberts obtained a BSc in Physics from the University of Birnimgham in 1970. She went on to study for the MSc in Radiobiology, achieving the degree in 1971. Continuing at the same University, she obtained a PhD in Radiological Physics in 1980.
Currently responsible for the international standards of radiation dosimetry and radioactivity measurements, she was previously Director of Medical Physics and Engineering, Southampton University Hospitals (1991-1994) and Consultant Physicist, Head of Regional Radiation Physics and Protection Services in the Department of Medical Physics at the Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre, Birmingham (1988-1990). She has served on many influential National and International committees dealing with radiation protection affairs and in 2002 was awarded the Founders' Prize by the Society for Radiological Protection.
